MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko received a report from Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus Valery Vakulchik and the President’s Aide for National Security Viktor Lukashenko on 9 September, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The head of state was interested in the state of affairs in Belarus in the run-up to the parliamentary elections. Alexander Lukashenko was told that the situation is calm and there are no security threats. There are also no problems with public security either.
Apart from that, Alexander Lukashenko was also informed about progress in the investigation of several criminal cases the President closely follows.
