MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) - State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Stanislav Zas met with UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Sanaka Samarasinha to discuss the prospects for the implementation of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020, BelTA learned from the State Secretariat of the Security Council.

During the meeting, which took place on 2 December, the parties also considered the interaction in assessing risks and threats to the sustainable development of the Republic of Belarus. In addition, the parties also discussed the ways of strengthening the cooperation between government bodies of the national security system and organizations, programs and agencies of the United Nations system.

The parties also exchanged views on current international and regional security issues.
