Union State MPs to discuss new projects, programs

MOSCOW, 24 February (BelTA) – The commission on social and youth policy, science, culture and humanitarian affairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will convene for a web-based meeting on 3 March, BelTA learned from the PA press service.

"The MPs will discuss the prospects for new joint programs and projects of the Union State, will consider the progress in the preparations for the Union State measures in 2021 and will review the execution of the Union State budget in 2020," the press service said.

The event will be attended by officials of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Education Ministry of Belarus, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and also the ministries of culture, healthcare, labor and social security of the two countries.
