MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – The cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Belarus is growing stronger year by year, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash told reporters after the third meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the UAE on 16 December, BelTA has learned.

“The negotiations were conducted in the spirit of cooperation, and were very positive. We signed a number of documents. I would like to note that our interaction does not stop even for a moment and is growing stronger year by year,” Anwar Mohammed Gargash said.

He pointed out that the meeting in Minsk was very fruitful in terms of trade, economic and investment cooperation. “There are opportunities for collaboration in different fields. I am confident that our relations will be growing stronger,” the diplomat noted.

The third meeting of the joint committee on intergovernmental cooperation between Belarus and the UAE was held at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 15 and 16 December. The Belarusian delegation to the meeting was led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, and the UAE delegation was headed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash.
