Turkish delegation to visit Belarus in January 2021

MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) – During his working trip to Istanbul, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Turkey Viktor Rybak took part in a meeting of the Turkey-Belarus Council that operates as part of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Turkey.

The participants of the meeting took stock of Belarus-Turkey economic cooperation in 2020 and discussed plans to promote and facilitate contacts between Belarusian and Turkish companies in 2021.

The parties discussed preparations for the second Belarus-Turkey investment forum and the program of the visit of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey to Belarus in January 2021. The DEIK delegation will come to Belarus to discuss ways to step up bilateral cooperation in investment, finances and transportation.

The participants of the meeting were updated about the political situation in Belarus.
