MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) - The trilateral contact group on Ukraine has resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting of the trilateral contact group was preceded by the talks of its working groups.

During the previous meeting on 18 April the Working Group on Humanitarian Issues continued discussion on the exchange of detainees and the conditions of their detention. The Working Group on Economic Issues considered further steps to restore and maintain Vodafone-Ukraine mobile communications in certain areas of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The group also discussed the issues of pension payments and the water deliveries in "Karbonyt" and "Voda Donbassa" supply systems. The Working Group on Political Issues continued its discussion on the implementation of the so-called ‘Steinmeier formula’. The importance of cooperation with the Normandy Four was stressed for the successful work of the group.
