MOSCOW, 9 January (BelTA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted an agreement with the Republic of Belarus on mutual protection of citizens from unjustified prosecution by foreign governments and international judicial bodies to the State Duma for ratification. The document has been published in the Duma's database, BelTA has learned.
“To ratify the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on measures for the mutual protection of citizens from unjustified prosecution by foreign states and international judicial bodies, signed in Moscow on 13 March 2025,” the draft federal law reads.
The agreement was signed by the Presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin.
