MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) - Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Rumas had a telephone conversation with Russian Premier Dmitry Medvedev on 12 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers.
Sergei Rumas extended Russia Day greetings to his counterpart and wished wellbeing and prosperity to the neighboring country. He expressed confidence that the joint efforts of the governments of the two countries towards deeper cooperation within the integration associations would promote mutual economic growth and better living conditions for the people.
The parties focused on the most important issues of bilateral cooperation. They discussed the activity of the Belarusian-Russian integration group which is due to meet in Moscow on 15 June.
Sergei Rumas also confirmed the invitation of Dmitry Medvedev to attend the 2nd European Games in Minsk.
