MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The federation of trade unions of Rostov Oblast plans to adopt the health resort treatment and recuperation practices of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, BelTA learned from the website of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.
While in Belarus, the Russian delegation met with representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, studied the experience of organizing trade-union training courses in the International University MITSO. The Russian delegation saw a high-level organization of health resort treatment and recuperation for members of trade unions at the example of one of Belprofsoyuzkurort health resorts, Krinitsa spa resort. According to Chairman of the federation of trade unions of Rostov Oblast Alexander Lozychenko, he was impressed with the achievements of the Belarusian trade unions.
The federation of trade unions of Russia’s Rostov Oblast and and the Brest regional trade union association are expected to sign a four-year cooperation agreement. This agreement will create a platform for joint projects and will promote cooperation with the partner regional trade unions. The agreement will formalize the reciprocal commitments in education, tourism, and recreation.
The federation of trade unions of Rostov Oblast region ranks second in Russia's Southern Federal District after Krasnodar Oblast by the number of members. The federation has 4,789 primary organizations, with more than 480,000 members.
