Prime ministers of Belarus, Russia discuss ways to step up economic cooperation

MOSCOW, 19 August (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin discussed the enhancement of economic cooperation between the two countries in a phone conversation on 19 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Russian Federation government.

Mikhail Mishustin and Roman Golovchenko discussed concrete tasks relating to the enhancement of Belarusian-Russian trade and economic cooperation. Stronger manufacturing cooperation in the production sector, power engineering, and other areas was also discussed.

The two prime ministers agreed it is important to further advance practical cooperation within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
