MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – The Fifth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia should be organized properly. Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Yuri Vorobyov made the statement as he met with Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich on 2 April, BelTA has learned.

The sides discussed results of the presidential election in Russia, the forthcoming inauguration of the Russian leader, which is due on 7 May, and preparations for the Fifth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.

BelTA reported earlier that this year’s Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will take place in Belarus. Events meant to advance economic cooperation, industrial cooperation, agricultural manufacturing cooperation, and cooperation in humanitarian affairs will take place.
