MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – A Polish parliamentary delegation led by Sejm Deputy Speaker Ryszard Terlecki will visit Belarus on 29-31 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The program of the visit includes meetings with the chairmen of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The delegation members are set to visit Grodno Oblast, to hold talks in FEZ Grodnoinvest and see the sights of the region.
The press service also informed that Belarus will welcome an official delegation of the Republic of Sudan headed by Parliament Speaker Ibrahim Omer on 26-31 August. The Sudanese delegation will get familiar with the economic, industrial, agricultural, scientific and educational potential of Belarus. The delegation will include MPs, officials of the ministries of petroleum and gas, finance and economic planning, the central bank and representatives of the business community of Sudan.
Members of the delegation are expected to meet with the chairmen of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, representatives of some ministries and concerns. The Sudanese delegation will also get acquainted with the achievements of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, will hold talks with the research and practical centers on agriculture and livestock, and the Belarusian mechanical engineering companies MTZ, MAZ, and BelAZ and see the cultural sighs.
