Polish parliament delegation to visit Belarus on 11-13 April

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – A delegation of the Polish parliament led by co-chairman of the Polish-Belarusian parliamentary group Adam Andruszkiewicz is expected to visit Belarus on 11-13 April, the press service of the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament told BelTA.

Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Boleslav Pirshtuk is expected to meet with the Polish MPs. The delegation will also meet with the head of the working group on cooperation with the Polish parliament, Chairman of the Human Rights, National Relations, and Mass Media Commission Andrei Naumovich and Deputy Education Minister Raisa Sidorenko. Apart from that, members of the Polish delegation are expected to meet with representatives of the Novogrudok District and Lida District administrations. They will visit a number of regional enterprises and meet with members of the Association of Polish Business in Belarus.

The foreign guests will be treated to an extensive cultural program. The Polish MPs are expected to visit Mir Castle, the Adam Mickiewicz Memorial House in Novogrudok, and Lida Castle.
