Package of agreements signed ahead of Belarus president’s visit to China

BEIJING, 24 April (BelTA) – Belarus and China have signed a package of agreements in anticipation of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s visit to China. The ceremony took place in the Belarusian embassy in the People’s Republic of China, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian State Medical University and the international education alliance East & West International Education signed an agreement on inviting Chinese citizens to study in Belarus.

An agreement was signed with OOO Electrotechnical Company Corehelm-Bel on terms of operation in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. Thus, the industrial park is now home to another company. Shaanxi Baoguang Group signed an agreement of intent to become a resident of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.

A framework agreement on strategic cooperation between twinned parks was signed with the administration of the Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base.

RUP Medtekhnotsentr signed a memorandum with the Zhuhai-based company Biolight Ltd on the joint production of medical equipment (patient monitoring systems) in Belarus.

RUP Medtekhnotsentr also signed a memorandum with the Shanghai-based company Medeco Industry Ltd on starting the joint production of operating room lamps, medical furniture, x-ray machines, patient monitors, and autoclaves in Belarus.

OAO Institute Belgosproekt signed an investment cooperation agreement with Beijing Jianyi Investment Development (Group) Co., Ltd.
