MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – No decisions have been made yet to introduce border control at the Belarusian-Russian border, BelTA learned from Anton Bychkovsky, a spokesman of the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the source, no decisions have been made yet by the Belarusian border service to introduce border control at the Belarusian-Russian border.

BelTA reported earlier that Russia has decided to close its border with Belarus to persons. The Russian Federation banned foreigners, including citizens of Belarus, from entering the country as of 00:00 on 18 March.
