MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has praised the current level of Nigeria-Belarus relations as outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Nigeria Vyacheslav Beskosty paid a farewell courtesy visit on him, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Muhammadu Buhari highly appreciated the personal contribution of the diplomat to the expansion of the bilateral contacts. He emphasized that Belarus and Nigeria have everything in place to scale up partner relations.

The Belarusian ambassador briefed the Nigerian head of state on the current state of the bilateral cooperation across various areas, including education and agriculture. The parties discussed cooperation prospects, including the exchange of visits at different levels.
