New German ambassador presents copy of credentials to Vladimir Makei

MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Belarus Manfred Huterer to receive the copy of his credentials on 23 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The minister congratulated Manfred Huterer on the appointment and expressed the hope for further strengthening of bilateral dialogue at all levels and confirmed Belarus’ support for mutually beneficial initiatives in various areas.

The parties discussed state and prospects of the Belarusian-German relations, including trade and investment sectors, cooperation between Belarus and the EU, and also issues of regional agenda.
