MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Belarus sees multifaceted prospects in bilateral contacts with India, BelTA learned from the protocol message sent by Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei to Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sushma Swaraj.
The press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted Vladimir Makei as saying that Belarus and India constructively work together in international organizations and effectively implement mutually beneficial projects in trade, economic, industrial, and humanitarian spheres. “It is worth noting that the potential of relations is far from being exhausted. We see multifaceted prospects in further advancement of the bilateral contacts,” the message underlines. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India Vitaly Prima delivered the message as he met with Indian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Preeti Saran on 17 April. The sides also discussed the entire bilateral agenda.
On 17 April Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Pankaj Saxena. During the meeting the ambassador handed over a protocol message from the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The message was addressed to Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. It was sent on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Belarus-India diplomatic relations. During the meeting the sides also discussed the current state of Belarusian-Indian relations and the organization of protocol events.
