MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) - Belarus has completed demarcation on the land border section with Ukraine, Chairman of Belarus’ State Border Committee Konstantin Molostov told the media in Minsk on 12 November, BelTA has learned.

“We are paying serious attention to the continued work on the demarcation of the state border on the Ukrainian section. To date, we have completed demarcation work on the entire land section. Only the river section of the border, which runs along the Dnieper River and the Sozh River remains undemaracated,” Konstantin Molostov said.

In addition, the head of the border agency noted that significant attention is being paid to bank reinforcement. The reinforcement primarily concerns the Western Bug River on the Belarus-Poland border. “We are carrying out these activities, including using the capabilities of the Union State,” he added.

In its operational and service activities the border agency is guided by the decree by the head of state, which was approved in January of this year. “We set our priorities based on the directions of the state border sections under our responsibility,” Konstantin Molostov concluded.
