MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – An organizing committee has been set up in Belarus to prepare for the 47th General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in Minsk in 2018, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The organizing committee, set up following the instruction of the Belarusian Prime Minister, will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Zharko.
The organizing committee has been instructed to develop and approve the corresponding action plan within the next three months.
If needed, the organizing committee can involve in the preparations for the forthcoming events heads and specialists of the national government bodies and other state organizations subordinate to the government, Minsk City Hall, the National Olympic Committee and others organizations.
