MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Martin Sajdik, the OSCE’s special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine, in Minsk on 7 September, BelTA has learned.

During the meeting Vladimir Makei and Martin Sajdik discussed matters concerning the resolution of the situation in Ukraine’s east and progress in implementing the Minsk agreements. Vladimir Makei mentioned the importance of the work that the trilateral contact group and its subgroups do.

Belarus is ready to continue fully facilitating the operation of the trilateral contact group and its subgroups, noted the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
