MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Russia's special representative in the tripartite contact group on Ukraine Azamat Kulmukhametov, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed some organizational, technical issues related to the work of the contact group and its working groups, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

Minsk is playing host to the meetings of three working groups on Ukraine: political affairs, humanitarian affairs and security. The meetings in the President Hotel are closed for the press. It is expected that the meetings of the working groups will be followed by a meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine with the participation of representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
