MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with a group of political experts from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) on 31 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The sides exchanged their views on the political dialogue between Belarus and the European Union and Belarus’ participation in the Eastern Partnership Initiative and discussed the situation in the region.
The EU experts also met with Belarus’ First Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Matyushevsky to talk over the participation of Belarus in the Eurasian integration processes and the cooperation between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union.
The delegation will also meet with members of the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus on 31 March.
