MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – As he authorized the appointment of executives in charge of various districts of the city of Brest, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined the importance of keeping this oblast capital in good order, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “I don’t have to tell you what Brest is. It became a native city for me, too back in the day. I love this city very much. It is possible that I visit it less frequently than some other cities. Although I don’t want to offend it. I visit Brest. I will be there this year as well. This is why it is very important for me if Brest stays pretty and in good order. We also did a lot for Brest back in the day and we monitor the development of this city. Particularly I do.”

BelTA reported earlier that Aleksandr Vlasovets will move from the position of the Head of the Administration of the Leninsky District of Brest to the same position in the Moskovsky District of this oblast capital.

In turn, the Leninsky District Administration will be headed by Nikolai Yefimovich, who previously served as Head of the Main Directorate for Organizational and Personnel Work of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.
