MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on 8-9 June where he will take part in the session of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

In his speech at the summit the head of state will voice the position of the Belarusian side regarding the further development of the organization, including its economic dimension. As an observer in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Belarus takes an active part in a wide range of events in all major dimensions: political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ones.

Besides, the Belarusian leader is expected to have a bilateral meeting with Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The heads of state will discuss the agenda of the Belarusian-Kazakhstani relations, interaction in integration formats.
