Lukashenko sends Neutrality Day greetings to Turkmenistan

MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as the country celebrates the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan which was adopted by the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, BelTA earned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

 “The time that has passed reaffirmed that correctness and historical importance of proclaiming neutrality by your country. Today, 25 years later, Turkmenistan is an active participant of the system of international relations having a deserved authority on the international arena,” the message of greetings reads. “I am sincerely convinced that the experience and useful practices accumulated by our countries in the period of close interaction, the closeness of positons of the Republic of Belarus and Turkmenistan on topical foreign policy issues will continue to serve as a reliable foundation for the entire complex of bilateral ties.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow strong health, every success in this productive work for the benefit of the Motherland. He also wished the people of Turkmenistan peace and prosperity.
