MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan as the country celebrates Independence Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
“This holiday symbolizes the sovereign choice of the Kyrgyz people and their commitment to social and economic growth, strengthening statehood, and improving the wellbeing of citizens,” the message of greetings reads.
The Belarusian president noted that Kyrgyzstan’s election to the UN Security Council for 2027-2028 has confirmed the country’s standing on the world stage. “The support extended by Belarus to its Kyrgyz partners has strengthened mutual trust and highlighted the high level of bilateral cooperation. I am confident that the bonds of friendship between our peoples are a solid foundation for deepening multifaceted relations and implementing joint integration initiatives,” the Belarusian leader said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sadyr Japarov health and happiness: “May your work in this responsible position continue to be a guarantee of stability and dynamic development for Kyrgyzstan.”
