MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that this holiday symbolizes the nation’s will to independently shape its development path and serves as a good occasion to highlight the country’s achievements.

“I reaffirm that Minsk views cooperation with Malabo as an important and promising direction. It is now essential to swiftly implement the agreements that have been reached and begin the full execution of the projects outlined in the ‘roadmap’. I see this as the key to deepening trade and economic ties, creating new opportunities for collaboration, and building a solid foundation for bilateral relations between our states,” emphasized the Belarusian leader.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo good health, boundless energy, and fruitful work in his high state office, and wished the people of Equatorial Guinea unity and continued progress.
