Lukashenko sends greetings to guests of national festival of Belarusian song and poetry

MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 19th National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The hospitable town of Molodechno brought together talented Belarusian musicians and poets at the unique festival of arts once again,” the message of greetings reads. “This year’s festival is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invasion and the Year of Native Land. Such landmark events enrich the creative legacy of our parents and grandparents, reveal new authentic names.”

The head of state expressed confidence that the festival of music and poetry will continue good traditions, help popularize the Belarusian language and national music, give way to young talents.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the participants of the festival creative success and inspiration. He also hopes that the guests of the festival will have many interesting meetings with great artists.
