Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to People’s Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon
MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to People’s Artist of the USSR Iosif Kobzon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Thanks to the unique talent and devotion to work you make an invaluable contribution to the development of music as you have been a bright star on the Russian and world music horizon for many years. Your creative work has stood the test of time and remains a paragon of professional mastery,” the felicitation message reads.
The head of state remarked that people in Belarus appreciate Iosif Kobzon as a great artist and a wonderful person. “I am convinced that your versatile activities will help promote an active cultural dialogue between the peoples of Belarus and Russia,” the president emphasized.
