MINSK, 27 November (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) Boris Paton, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“You are a unique person. You celebrate your centennial anniversary on the post of the president of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state remarked that the entire life of the NASU president is inseparably connected with the history of development of the Soviet and Ukrainian science. “The life of a world-famous scientist, academician, public figure is a vivid example of tireless creative work and commitment to his job.”

“I am convinced that your international authority, tremendous experience, wisdom and knowledge will help enhance productive scientific and technical cooperation of Belarusian and Ukrainian scientists,” the president of Belarus emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Boris Paton strong health, enthusiasm, unflagging inspiration, peace and wellbeing.
