Lukashenko, Putin to hold talks in Minsk 19 June

MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) – On 19 June Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will hold talks with Russia President Vladimir Putin who will pay an official visit to Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

During the one-on-one meeting the heads of state will discuss the current state of affairs and development prospects of the bilateral relations, joint projects, interaction in integration formats and in international organizations.

Then Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will take part in the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State. The agenda includes about 10 issues.

The summit will focus on the results of the Belarusian-Russian trade and economic cooperation in 2017, the report of the Council of Ministers on the implementation of the Union State budget in 2016, a program of concerted foreign policy activities for 2018-2019. The two leaders will also discuss the priority avenues and goals of further integration development.

After the meeting the sides are expected to sign a number of documents.
