MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The heads of state discussed the organization of the Days of Ukrainian Culture in Belarus on 7-20 July. The event will include concerts of Ukrainian singers and bands at the Kupalye festival (Alexandriya Gathers Friends) and the International Festival of Arts Slavonic Bazaar.

Alexander Lukashenko and Petro Poroshenko discussed the preparations for the first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Gomel in October 2018.

Besides, they talked over the development of trade and economic cooperation and interaction in various fields, the implementation of agreements which were reached at the highest level during mutual visits of the two heads of state.
