NEW YORK, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko took part in the formal reception on behalf of US President Barack Obama in honor of the heads of delegations at the 70^th session of the UN General Assembly, BelTA has learned.

This was the last event in the program of the working visit of the Belarusian head of state to the USA.

On 27 September and 28 September the Belarusian President spoke at the sessions of the UN General Assembly. He voiced Belarus’ national stance on sustainable development and the approaches of the country to the resolution of the most serious international issues on the present-day agenda. Alexander Lukashenko also held a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of other countries, top-ranking officials of the United Nations.
