Lukashenko on meeting with Modi: We exchanged some things and had a talk

BEIJING, 2 September (BelTA) – International events in China offered opportunities for communication with many world leaders. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement as he met with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Beijing on 2 September, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “We had an opportunity to talk to all the presidents. Even to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We hadn’t met for a long time. We exchanged some things and had a talk. It is also very important.”

BelTA reported earlier that while in China Aleksandr Lukashenko held multiple informal meetings with foreign leaders as well as negotiations with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.
