Lukashenko hails positive trends in Belarus-France interaction

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) - Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to France President Emmanuel Macron as the country celebrates French Republic Day, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

The head of state praised positive trends and concrete results in the Belarusian-French political, trade and humanitarian interaction. He also confirmed that Belarus is prepared for further joint efforts to utilize the existing potential in bilateral relations between the two countries.

“I am convinced that the joint work of Belarus and France for the consolidation of the international community in order to maintain a decent architecture of European security helps promote stability in the region and meets the interests of our states,” the president emphasized.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Emmanuel Macron strong health and every success on the political arena. He also wished French people peace and wellbeing.
