MOSCOW, 9 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko together with foreign leaders laid a wreath and flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin walls in Moscow, BelTA has learned.
Before the flower-laying ceremony the Belarusian leader took part in the celebrations to mark the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The head of state watched a military parade in Red Square.






Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Moscow on a working visit on 8 May. On the eve of the celebrations in honor of the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Belarusian head of state held negotiations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
Upon his return to Minsk, the president will take part in the festive events that will be held in the Belarusian capital city.
