Lukashenko extends National Day greetings to Switzerland

MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) - Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President Ueli Maurer of Switzerland as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state expressed hope for further vibrant development of fruitful cooperation between Belarus and Switzerland based on mutual respect and friendship, which meets the interests of the people of the two countries, promotes security and stability in the European region.
 
“I would like to note that the two countries have been steadily intensifying bilateral political contacts and building economic dialogue,” the message of greetings runs.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished every success and strong health to Ueli Maurer and peace and wellbeing to people of multinational and friendly Switzerland.
