Lukashenko extends National Day greetings to Singapore

MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and all citizens as the country celebrates the national holiday – Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Your country is a promising economic partner for Belarus in Southeast Asia. I reaffirm our commitment to enhancing Belarus-Singapore cooperation, built on the principles of friendship, trust, and mutual consideration of interests. I look forward to intensifying bilateral engagement at all levels, and the fruitful implementation of joint trade and economic projects for the benefit of both our nations," the message of congratulations reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Tharman Shanmugaratnam excellent health and success in his state duties, and the people of Singapore – peace and progress.
