MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Supreme Ruler of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim and the entire Malaysian people as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I am confident that the relations between Minsk and Kuala Lumpur, which are built on shared approaches to shaping a just world order, will continue to develop on the principles of mutual trust and respect,” the president said.
The head of state noted that Belarus is interested in expanding cooperation with Malaysia in trade and economy, industry, and culture.
“I would be glad to see you in our country at a time convenient for you to discuss current issues on the bilateral and global agendas,” the Belarusian leader added.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sultan Ibrahim good health and happiness, and also peace and wellbeing to the citizens of Malaysia.
