Lukashenko congratulates Rodrigo Paz Pereira on his election as president of Bolivia

MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Rodrigo Paz Pereira on his election as President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

In his message, Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Your country is a good friend and a promising partner for the Republic of Belarus in South America, with whom we maintain constructive and mutually respectful relations. I believe the two countries have significant potential for bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology, humanitarian matters, and other areas of mutual interest. This potential can only be successfully utilized through joint efforts and the political support of both countries.”

“Belarus is ready to truly intensify the fruitful dialogue with Bolivia. I hope that in the near future we will be able to give Belarusian-Bolivian relations new substance.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko concluded by wishing his Bolivian counterpart health, inexhaustible energy, and success in his responsible post, as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Bolivia.
