Lukashenko congratulates Putin on successful launch of Soyuz-2.1a booster

MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Russia President Vladimir Putin on the successful launch of the Soyuz-2.1a booster from the new Vostochny Space Launch Center, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“This event is a good continuation of glorious traditions of the Soviet and Russian space science, it confirms Russia’s leading positions in space exploration,” the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the space industry will be vigorously developing for the benefit of the two nations.
