MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh of Mongolia on the national holiday, Naadam, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
“The festival, rooted in the history of your country, vividly demonstrates Mongolia’s uniqueness, the distinctiveness of its culture, and the inexhaustible energy of its people,” the message of congratulations said. “These competitions show that the strength of the national spirit does not live on the pages of history textbooks, but in every Mongolian wrestler, archer, and young rider galloping across the steppe.”
The head of state noted that Mongolia left an indelible impression on him. “In turn, I eagerly await you, dear friend, on a return visit to the hospitable Belarusian land,” he added.
The Belarusian leader wished the president of Mongolia and the entire Mongolian people well-being and prosperity: “May the eternally blue sky of Mongolia always remain cloudless.”
