Lukashenko congratulates Arif Alvi on 25th anniversary of Belarus-Pakistan relations

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Pakistan's  President Dr Arif Alvi on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The Belarusian head of state noted that Minsk and Islamabad have a history of relations based on respect, a high level of trust and sincere friendship.

“Over the past quarter of a century, our states have established solid and efficient partnerships and have significantly stepped up cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology, culture and other areas,” the message of congratulations reads. 

Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that taking into consideration great cooperation prospects and mutual interest, the bilateral cooperation will maintain momentum and will contribute to the growth in prosperity of the two nations.
