Lukashenko: Belarus will continue to provide grants for talented Uzbek youth

MINSK, 9 July (BelTA) – Belarus will continue to provide grants for talented youth from Uzbekistan to study at country’s leading higher education institutions, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said following his talks with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Minsk on 9 July, BelTA has learned.

“We will continue to provide grants for talented youth from Uzbekistan to study at Belarusian leading higher education institutions. We also plan to keep inviting Uzbek children to spend their holidays in Belarus, including at our national children’s camp Zubrenok,” the head of state said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that educational cooperation with Uzbekistan is given top priority.
