Lukashenko: Belarus is committed to expanding ties with Bahrain

MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent National Day greetings to King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and to the people of the country, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“King Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa's ascension to the throne in 1971 opened a bright new chapter in the history of Bahrain which continues to develop successfully under your leadership. Your effective efforts to strengthen the economy, support social stability and increase the country's role in the international arena deserve deep respect,” the message of congratulations to Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said.

The head of state emphasized that Belarus is committed to expanding ties with Bahrain and harnessing all the opportunities for cooperation.

In his congratulatory message to Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that giving momentum to the Belarusian-Bahraini political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, primarily in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian areas, fully corresponds to the interests of both peoples.
