Lukashenko asks interviewer to avoid ‘nasty questions’ about three leaders

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – At the very beginning of his interview with the U.S. media company Newsmax, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko jokingly asked interviewer Greta Conway Van Susteren not to ask “nasty questions” about three individuals, BelTA has learned.

“I am a strong supporter of Trump. I also have a close relative – the president of Russia [Aleksandr Lukashenko often refers to Vladimir Putin as his ‘older brother’]. And I have a very good friend (from long ago, even before he became the leader of his country) – Xi Jinping. So please don’t ask any nasty questions about these three people. It's just a joke,” the head of state said.
