MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna met with EU diplomats on 19 March to discuss the preparations for the Eastern Partnership (EaP) summit in Riga, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told media on 19 March, BelTA has learned.

The parties discussed Belarus’ cooperation with the European Union, including within the Eastern Partnership. The sides also talked over cooperation prospects between the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union, the development of the situation in the region.

The delegation of high-level diplomats comprised representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, and the Czech Republic.
