MINSK, 27 March (BelTA) – Governor of Kaluga Oblast, the Russian Federation, Anatoly Artamonov is expected to visit Belarus on 2-5 April, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 27 March, BelTA has learnt.
Meetings in the Belarus President’s Administration and the government will highlight cooperation prospects, including industrial cooperation, transport, construction, science and education, and the farming sector.
The Kaluga delegation will visit the national scientific practical center of neurology and brain surgery, the Hi-Tech Park, Stadler Minsk and Amkodor companies, Minsk Tractor Works, and other Belarusian companies.
Belarus and Kaluga Oblast are expected to sign an intergovernmental agreement on trade, economic, sci-tech and cultural cooperation and the cooperation action plan for 2014-2016.
In 2013 the trade between Belarus and Kaluga Oblast totaled $565.8 million, up by 36% from 2012.
