MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – An Indian parliamentary delegation will be on an official visit to Belarus on 9-13 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives of Belarus.
The delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will visit Belarus upon the invitation of the House of Representatives. The Indian delegation is expected to meet with the speakers of the both chambers of the Belarusian parliament and tour the Hi-Tech Park and the India-Belarus Digital Learning Center in ICT named after Rajiv Gandhi, the press service informed.
The meeting hosted by Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko will focus on interparliamentary contacts and bilateral cooperation in trade, economy and investments, legislative effort, culture and humanitarian activities. Apart from that, Vladimir Andreichenko and his Indian counterpart Sumitra Mahajan will communicate views on topical issues of the international agenda.
